Privacy policy

What AlphaX stores

• Account: your email and password, or your Google or Apple sign-in. Apple "Hide My Email" addresses work. An Apple sign-in creates its own AlphaX account and is not merged with other accounts.
• Optional name, used only to prefill reorder messages.
• Your list: the products you enter (name, type, dose, times, supply, notes) and the doses you mark taken, snoozed, or skipped. This is health information you choose to type in.
• Device info for reminders: a device name and a notification subscription or Apple push token.
• Optional PIN or biometric unlock, which stays only on your device.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, your text messages, or payment information. AlphaX has no ads and does not track you across other apps or websites.

AI-assisted tools

BIOELITE uses an AI assistant that may answer calls and text messages to take messages and help schedule appointments. It does not give medical advice, and you may ask to speak with a staff member at any time. In the AlphaX app, if you choose to photograph a medication label, the photo is read by an AI tool to fill in the medication name and dose. The photo is not saved.

Label photos are read by an AI service from our HIPAA-covered cloud provider, Amazon Web Services, under a business associate agreement. The photo is processed once and is not stored, and it is not added to your chart. Only the fields you choose to save are kept. This feature is optional: photograph just the label, or type the details in yourself.

How your information is used

• To show your list and send reminders on each device you sign in to.
• By default, reminder alerts show the product name and dose. You can switch to generic reminders that do not name your products in Settings.
• Reorder messages are drafted on your device and sent only when you choose to send them: by email to health@bioelite.org or by text to (754) 290-4321. Text messages are not encrypted, so keep health details brief or use email or a call.
• We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who processes your data

• Amazon Web Services: hosting, encrypted storage, and reading label photos, under a HIPAA business associate agreement.
• Apple and Google: sign-in and notification delivery.
• Information you send to the clinic, such as reorder requests, becomes part of your BIOELITE medical record. That record is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices at bioelite.org/privacy-policy.

We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to authorized staff. No system is perfectly secure, so protect your password and device.

Keeping and deleting your data

• Your data stays until you remove it.
• Clear my cabinet removes your products, reminders, and name, but keeps your account.
• Delete my account (in Settings or at alphax.bioelite.org/delete-account) permanently deletes the account and its data. For Apple sign-ins, it also revokes the Apple sign-in. Copies in backups are removed on the normal backup cycle, and are not restored.
• Exported backup files are yours. BIOELITE does not store them unless you send them to us.

Your choices

You can turn alerts off, skip the name and the PIN, and export, clear, or delete your data at any time. You may also ask us to access or correct your information. If you can't sign in, email health@bioelite.org from your account email.

Children

AlphaX is for adults 18 and older.
